Facilities

The total floor space allocated to CERMAX is about 170 m² and includes 3 NMR rooms, a dedicated wet lab for sample preparation support and a room with four graphical workstations for data processing and analysis. These facilities are located in the ground level of ITQB-NOVA to minimize vibrations and enhance data quality. The 800MHz spectrometer is located in a vibration damped room detached from the main building.

Currently, CERMAX boasts 5 instruments:

800 MHz cryoprobe (He) and autosampler
500 MHz with cryoprobe (N₂)
500 MHz multiprobe
400 MHz multiprobe with autosampler
300 MHz multiprobe
